Founders

Mark and Beth Kessler founded Third Horse Coffee after years of praying, serving in their community, and walking alongside their son Josiah. Their family’s experience gave them a firsthand understanding of the challenges that can arise when school-age services end—and inspired them to begin building something better.

Meet Josiah

Josiah helps Third Horse Coffee with packing orders, preparing products, deliveries, and community events. His gifts, personality, and desire for meaningful work helped inspire our mission to create opportunities where adults with intellectual and developmental disabilities can contribute, connect, and thrive.
